uni scribbles one

this is a start of my 'showcase' of what exactly i get up to when at uni... well, during two of my subjects anyway (there's no time to lull about in my languages... bah.)

this was started during a "Language and Identity'lecture, and was continued into the tutorial (plus another page, which i'll add later). let's look for the references, shall we...?

- random japanese: this page was orginally used in a jap class, of a test... eh, it's just words to do with travelling and stuff.
- kiwi fruit and fennel: i work at woolworths, these days usually on check out, and every week we do a test of sorts, to see how well we recognise the fruit and veg that comes through. and i guess that week (this is a while ago), there was a green kiwi fruit (not the gold type), and a fennel (not the baby version)
- the happy face: that would be the lecturer. he's fun - a short, brittish man, with this really odd way of talking, a bit like attenbourough, but... not. and he kept talking about centrelink in this tutorial, which is what the bad handwrighting says...
- one piece: luffy's doing he's own version of the 'nigerette' ad (should be "you can beat the cigarette!"), a failed attempt to draw chopper, pics of sanji refer to recent manga chapters (around the 460 mark), and... nami. i forgot how to draw her. oh well.
